Hot on the heels of yesterday’s missive, I write again with news of the latest vinyl review column for Clash. There’s a lot of wonderful music in there and I take a detailed look at the Pet Shop Boys’ ‘Smash’ vinyl box set. If you’ve been wondering about New Land’s Dorothy Ashby collection, you can get the inside track on that too. Oh, and I fully embraced the ‘Sound Of The Underground’.

While I’m here, I just wanted to flag that the Wednesday emails will be taking a bit of a break now, having notched up almost half a year’s worth of tips and reflections. The next month or two has different demands on my time, so I can’t be certain I can stick to a regular schedule. That said, you’ll still hear from me, just with a little more flexibility. Thanks, as ever, for subscribing and sharing. Your interest and comments are very much appreciated.
