Oh dear. I'm sorry now that I've read this before hearing the lp....

I saw them in Dublin a few weeks ago, and having had a little anxiety prior to the gig, if seeing them again was a good idea, how could the likes of Parklife et al still hold up etc. Of course I shouldn't have worried, Blur were/are sensational and this all is very emotional. Roll on the new record.

What a great review. I was already excited for the album but it''s now feeling like a long time until Friday. Can't wait to put it on the turntable to listen to it properly. And then listen to it all over again once it's finished.

Your feelings towards Blur always have a way of mirroring my own completely. Loved reading this as a precursor to hearing the album for the first time, and very much looking forward to reading again once the album has taken begun to take hold. Great stuff, Gareth!
